PCD material is called Polycrystalline diamond, is a kind of superhard material, sintered at a high temperature of 1400℃ and high pressure of 6GPa. It is a very good cutting material for non-ferrous, non-metal and composite material machining.
ToolingBox offers 3 different PCD turning grades (TCD100, TCD200 and TCD300) for 3 different materials group machining:
- TCD100 grade suitable for aluminum alloy (Si<13%) and non-metal finishing turning, wood plank cutting off.
- TCD200 grade suitable for ceramic,graphite,CFRP materials..
- TCD300 grade suitable for aluminum alloy (Si>13%), MMC material ( metal-matrix composite) based aluminum, sintered ceramic and rocks.
